More than just a charcoal grill, the Kasai konro uses a natural clay material to optimise heat retention, reflecting heat back into the grill and to the food. As the konro has superior insulative properties, the charcoal burns longer than in conventional cookers, helping to maximise cooking times without having to change or add fuel. The special design of the grill also delivers those searing hot temperatures (up to 350°C) needed to lock in natural flavours without imparting other aromas.

This searing edition includes the stainless steel frame and full-size searing grate - exceptional for cooking delicious steaks, rib roast or tenderloin. The 6mm stainless steel bars allow the sear grate to get incredibly hot so that you can treat everyone to picture-perfect, flavourful sear marks, while sealing in the moisture and flavour of your food.
