The plain saree body is woven with stripes of beige and zari design borders highlighting small paisley detailing. Shimmering zari interwoven with purple and red stripes are designed for the saree pallu band. The royal weaves of the maheshwari originated at the banks of river Narmada, creating elegant, light weight and subtle silky lustrous sarees.
