The XLC08 can be used with trigger mode or slide switch mode for ease and convenience. The Makita-built brushless motor runs cooler and more efficiently; delivering up to 90 Watts of power.

Convenience features include a compact, ergonomic design that reduces operator fatigue and a thermoplastic hand grip for longer life and a more comfortable feel. It also features a bagless cloth filtration system that allows for easier cleaning and quicker debris disposal, as well as increased storage capacity for longer time between waste disposal.
